Hiring a venue
Our recently refurbished buildings are flexible, attractive and well equipped. We host a wide range of community activities including: clubs and classes; dance, band or choir performances; children's parties; celebration meals, lectures and movie nights.
Church halls - up to 70 people
A large open space suitable for active groups, or chairs can be set out auditorium style for 70 or around tables for 48 adults and 24 children. There is a smaller hall through double doors, which can also be subdivided in two, and an enclosed outdoor space with 20 garden chairs. Fully equipped small kitchen with crockery and cutlery, gas oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, hot water urn and trolley.
£13/hour for regular users, £24/hour for occasional use.
Smaller rooms - up to 20 people
The smaller hall or the glazed carpeted side room in the main church can be hired separately, with comfortable seating for discussion groups.
£7/hour for regular users, £12/hour occasional use.
Main church - up to 300 people
Attractive Victorian features and good acoustics. Modern audio-visual equipment and raised stage platforms. Padded stackable chairs set out for up to 100 with a further 200 that can be added. Serving area with hot water urn, sink and fridge.
£30/hour for regular users, £50/hour for an event with access earlier for setting up.
Suitable for wheelchairs and buggies, with disabled toilets and baby changing. You can download a leaflet about the building and history.
Church members and partner organisations are not charged for Christian activities. Charity policy does not permit other spiritual, political, ethical or awareness-raising activities. Please read our: terms and conditions of hire and visit during normal office hours or Sunday church 10.30am or 5pm.
