We're a child-friendly welcoming church family with plenty of children of all ages on Sundays at 10.30am. We begin all together for a few songs, often with actions or instruments for children, and a few minutes from our children's worker. Then there are three groups according to age and school year. Games, stories, crafts, drama, song, prayer and discussion help children get to know Jesus from the Bible. There is also a supervised crèche for under 3s, a parent and child room where you can still see and hear what's happening in church, and a youth group for those at secondary school.

After school

JAFFA Club (Jesus A Friend For All) is for 7-11s with crafts, games, Bible stories and refreshments. Our youth group for 11-16s meets in the church halls at the same time. Thursdays 6.00-7.30pm, in school term. Parents are welcome to stay for coffee, conversation and a discussion starter from the Bible, either for part or all of the group time, with LEGO for any under 7s.

Special events

Local families like to visit for special occasions and we have children's parties at Christmas and Easter, and a Holiday Club in July, advertised through the local school and our personal contacts.

All volunteers working with under 18s or vulnerable adults are police checked and trained to follow our safeguarding policy. Under 3s may be given breadsticks and 3-11s may be given squash and a biscuit. When you come, you will be asked to register your family and let us know about allergies or other health issues.
