For all children currently in Year R to Year 6 (5 to 11 years old). Booking essential. There is no charge for Holiday Club.
Parents will be notified on or after 9th July to confirm that their child has a place.
Sundays at 10.30am
begin with all ages together for songs with actions or instruments, or a few minutes from our children's worker. Then there are three groups divided according to age and school year. Games, stories, crafts, drama, song, prayer and discussion help children get to know Jesus from the Bible. There is also a supervised crèche for under 3s, a parent and child room where you can still see and hear what's happening in church, and a group for those 11 and over.
JAFFA Club is for 7-11s with crafts, games, Bible stories and refreshments. Thursdays 6.00-7.30pm, in school term. During JAFFA, some parents stay for coffee
, conversation and a discussion starter from the Bible, with LEGO for any under 7s. (Our youth group
for 11-16s meets in the church halls at the same time.)
Local families like to visit for special occasions and we have children's parties at Christmas and Easter, and a Holiday Club in July, advertised through the local school and our personal contacts.
All volunteers working with under 18s or vulnerable adults are police checked and trained to follow our safeguarding policy. Under 3s may be given breadsticks and 3-11s may be given squash and a biscuit. When you come, you will be asked to register your family and let us know about allergies or other health issues.
