Sundays at 10.30am
We want to help you as you teach the Bible to your children so that they grow in their knowledge and love of Jesus even though we are not able to meet face to face in our normal groups at the church building.
Each week there will be:
1. Church family together at 10.30am on the St Matthew's YouTube channel.  This will include a children's talk introducing what the children will be learning and an action song to join in with.

2. A recorded video lesson that you can watch with your children on the St Matthew's YouTube channel. This will tell and explain the Bible story.
3.Teaching material  to use with your children at home.  This will include craft activities for Climbers (3-5) and Adventurers (6-7) that you can print out or that can be done simply using resources that you have at home.  Activity sheets to do with children in Explorers (7-11's). Game ideas that your can play with siblings or parents.  Questions to talk through as a family and ideas as to how to pray about what you have been learning.

After school
JAFFA Club is currently suspended.  JAFFA for children in Year 3-6  with crafts, games, Bible stories and refreshments. Thursdays 6.00-7.30pm, in school term. During JAFFA, some parents stay for coffee, conversation and a discussion starter from the Bible, with acitivites for under 7's. (Our youth group for 11-16s meets in the church halls at the same time.)

Special events
Local families like to visit for special occasions and we have children's parties at Christmas and Easter, and a Holiday Club in July, advertised through the local school and our personal contacts.

All volunteers working with under 18s or vulnerable adults follow the guidelines in our Safeguarding Policy.  Under 3s may be given breadsticks and 3-11s may be given squash and a biscuit. When you come, you will be asked to register your family and let us know about allergies or other health issues.
